Am I the Right Photographer for You

Hi! Is that a tough question?! Don't worry, I am going to help you answer that. First though, I want to formally introduce myself.
I'm Kelli, owner/photographer at Kelli Hiser Photography. I honestly don't know what started my love for photography. I remember throughout high school, and even after, I was always taking pictures (but back then with disposable cameras). I still look back through my albums. It's nice to have those memories and it's awesome to share them with my kids. What really drove me to want to learn more was 11 years ago, I tried taking my son's newborn photos and I had no idea what I was doing. Even though they are pretty awful (by today's standards), I love that I have them. But now, we'll fast forward 7 years to when I really started to learn the art of photography.
Well, I am always photographing nature, landscapes, and my children & their lives; like when my son started 3rd grade at a new school or my daughter's first day of Kindergarten (just the everyday details). When they were younger they didn't mind the camera and now they don't always like to be photographed, but still... I am always there trying to freeze time by pressing that shutter button. However, with them not wanting to be my subject(s), all the time, is why I decided to try to find some new people to photograph. :)
That's where you come in.
Oh, I know... I still haven't answered that question yet. Trust me, I'm getting there!
There are so many photographers, in our area, (new and established) to choose from. So, before you decide to choose me as your photographer, I'd like to take some time to get to know you.
The images I provide to my clients are more than just portraits, it's me capturing life as it happens.
I want to tell your story.
So, let me know this:
1. What do you love most about you/your loved one/your family?
2. What do you love to do together/as a family?
3. Describe to me you perfect Saturday.

Telling me these 3 things will help me plan ideas for your epic session, one that will tell your story.
If you love going miniature golf as a family, I'm going to say... "That is where we should have your session". If you tell me that you love your child's ringlet curls... then I'm going to make sure I photograph those curls for you to remember. If you tell me your perfect Saturday is making pancakes for your partner and doing the crossword puzzle together... then that is what you're going to do and I'll document it.
Remember, this is your story... it should be told right, and I would love to tell it for you.

There. I've answered the question. So, now that you know how I would take the time to tell your story,
am I the right photographer for you?

If I am, then answer those 3 questions in an email/message and send it to me. Let's plan your epic session, so I can tell your story!
